    We have the technologies and the organizational expertise required to effect an incredible change in mobility. However their deployment implies considerable cost, which will in the long-term, be justified by the safeguarding of our ecosystems. It is therefore essential that policymakers draft the right policies and ensure that we stay on course.


    International conferences have, for several decades now, set the targets, notably for emissions; but the priorities and the action plans for sustainable mobility have to be drafted for every continent and even for every country, depending on the specificities of the region.


    In the areas of vehicles, energy and the environment, vehicle emissions – among others – have been subject to legislation over the last twenty years in most countries and continents. On the other hand, professionals draft standards which aim for convergence in the different sectors according to the know-how shared.
