COP23: AMO contributes to a Roadmap for a carbon-free African transport

Version 2

    Dear Observers,

The OMA is partnering with an initiative that aims to  present a roadmap for clean transport in Africa at the upcoming COP23 in Bonn, Germany, in November.

For the third consecutive year now, the transport sector will make concrete proposals to contribute to reducing global greenhouse gases and fight against global warming.

This project is part of a cooperation between PPMC (Paris Process on Mobility and Climate) and the company L'Oreille (formerly Africa4Tech).

Transport issues on the African continent are considerable. Thus, all proposals to "do good at the first attempt" to implement modern, safe and clean transport in the different regions will be welcome. This is why the OMA asks you to contribute to this project, by answering the online questionnaire that we propose below.

This work will take approximately 20 minutes.

The responses to the questionnaires will be synthesized and enriched  at a Mobility workshop to be held at the Climate Chance conference in Agadir on Sept. 12. A roadmap will then be developed and presented at COP23 in November.

    Thank you for your contribution!
