Passengers vs pedestrians : who should be saved by an automated car ?

A strange study has been conduced by the MIT in collaboration with Scalable cooperation. They have launched a platform online on which participants can test different scenarios. In each case, an automated car has to choose between saving its passengers or different kind of pedestrians.

This study conclude that 75% of participants think that the automated car should save the pedestrians and kill its own passengers if needed.

      What would you think ?
